I am a barrister and solicitor, admitted to practice law in Mauritius, and England & Wales, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators(CIArb) and an elected Committee Member of the CIArb UAE branch, its Public Relations Officer and Chief Editor of the Branch’s quarterly newsletter.

I have over 10 years of substantive experience in alternative dispute resolution, and international and domestic arbitration both ad hoc and under major institutional rules such as the rules of the ICC, DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, ADCCAC, HKIAC, SIAC, QICCA and LMAA Terms. I have acted as Counsel for businesses in the construction, technology, media and telecommunication(TMT), energy, insurance and healthcare sectors in the Middle East, the UK and Africa. I have also advised and represented clients in mediation proceedings.

I now sit as Arbitrator for both ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations and assists as Tribunal Secretary in complex cases. I am also available for appointments as adjudicator and dispute board member.

I regularly speak on topics related to arbitration, mediation, alternative dispute resolution, construction, and dispute prevention and avoidance.
